Meet Mariah

Mariah has always had a deep passion for photo and film, with a creative journey that began at a young age. What started as a love for capturing moments naturally grew into a professional career in 2016, when she founded Maven Media.

She graduated from Missouri Southern State University in 2017 with degrees in Mass Communication and Public Relations, a background that strongly shapes the way she works with clients today. She approaches every wedding thoughtfully, intentionally, and with a strong focus on storytelling. She values documenting people as they truly are, creating imagery that is timeless and feels honest.

In 2020, Mariah married her husband, Justin, and together they’ve adopted a growing crew of fur babies who keep life full and joyful. When she’s not behind the camera, you can find her loving on her pets, traveling, spending time outdoors or dreaming up new creative ideas. She feels incredibly grateful to do the work she loves and tell stories through photo and film for clients who trust her to capture their most meaningful moments.

Kenna picked up her first camera 12 years ago and began pursuing photography professionally in 2021. She is drawn to classic simplicity and all of the in-between moments, but what she loves most is the ability to slow time and preserve all the special seasons of life. These moments are fleeting, and she feels so incredibly honored to capture them.
